SCOTLAND CHARCOAL
The Scotland Charcoal Harness is considered one of the most prominent plaids that was publicized by the Scottish author, Sir Walter Scott in 1820. Historically, tartan designs were often associated with Lowland and Highland districts whose weavers were known to produce cloth patterns favoured in those regions. By process of social evolution in the middle of the 19th century, every family and clan was identified by whichever tartans they wore. The obsidian shade of the montage check is coordinated with the mineral metallic grey leatherette ribbing to elevate the vibrance of the lustrous silver embroidery. The word clan is derived from the Gaelic word clanna, meaning children in which this composition was specifically designed for our beloved “fur-babies”
