Woofur is proud to offer Walks 'N' Wags' Pet First Aid Course providing comprehensive pet safety and first aid information. This course is applicable to both dogs AND cats and will cover important topics including:
- Recognition of signs of common illness and injury,
- Safely working with an injured animal,
- What to do in an emergency,
- How to handle bleeding wounds and bone injuries,
- Choking skills,
- How to perform Artificial Respiration and CPR on an animal,
- What to do for poisoning, frostbites, heat stroke, burns, etc.
- What to do to prevent illnesses and injuries
A Certified Pet First Aid instructor teaches this course. Our instructor will teach this class through lectures, demonstrations, and exercises.

1. I understand that Woofur Services requires each dog to be fully vaccinated before services can be provided. I must provide Woofur with my dog(s)’ current vaccination records. Please visit our vaccine policy for more information: https://www.woofur.ca/health-vaccine-policy
2. I understand that this course is for quiet and friendly dogs only to sustain a positive learning environment. If my dog shows aggression toward a person or another dog, I will be asked to leave and will not be eligible for a refund.
3. I understand that the course fee is a per-person price and is non-refundable. Payment of the course fee is required to secure my spot in the program.
4. I understand that if I fail to attend my pet first aid class for any reason whatsoever, I forfeit my spot in the class and may not transfer my registration to another course date. No refunds or credits will apply, and no exceptions will be made.
5. I understand that if any minor injuries occur to my dog, for which my dog is at fault, I will be responsible for its medical expenses.
6. I understand that if my dog causes injuries to other dogs, for which my dog is at fault, I will be responsible for the medical expenses.
7. I agree to hold harmless Woofur, its agents, employees, and trainers, from and against any losses, costs, damages, parasitic infections, and expenses (including lawyer fees) arising out of or resulting from any claims, suits, by or on behalf of any person, for any injury to me, my pet(s), including death arising out of my participation in said activity.
8. I agree to give Woofur the right to use any photos taken during the course for marketing purposes.
9. I understand that by providing my email address to Woofur, I am consenting to receive emails from Woofur regarding announcements, specials, promotions, and other communications. I understand I can unsubscribe from these mailings at any time.
